Pregnancy and Postpartum Support During COVID-19
Pregnancy is often a joyful time for families. The emotional and physical strain, however, as well as the logistics involved in bringing a new human into the world, can be overwhelming.
The COVID-19 global pandemic is only adding to the stress for many new parents and families.
In light of this, we've put together some virtual support resources for pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Register for this free webinar.
"Peaceful Pregnancy" will help you overcome the added stress. You will learn relaxation techniques that can be used now, during labor, and anytime that you are stressed. Register here.

Schedule virtual support sessions with a certified doula.
In-person support is temporarily decreasing due to public health concerns, but a doula can still be a great source of knowledge and reassurance during your pregnancy or postpartum period. Schedule here.
(Psst - if you have an estimated due date through the end of April, you can register for a free 30-min virtual session!)
Virtual sessions with a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
Yep, these are also available for anyone needing breastfeeding support. Learn more here.
Join La Leche League for online breastfeeding support.
Chapters around the country are now offering this option. If you're local to our home base of Broome County, then the Greater Binghamton chapter can be found here. For the time being, monthly online meetings are being held in place of their in-person meetings. They also offer phone, text, and email support - always free! Online meetings are held here.
Attend online meetings with Postpartum Support International.
The purpose of PSI is to increase awareness about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. Find their schedule here.
Hopefully this list helps you find the support you need during this very unnerving time. Have you found any other virtual resources? Share them in the comments!
